The Parti Libéral (French: Liberal Party) is a political party in the Kingdom of France. It promotes a moderate liberal economic policy of greater economic freedom, lower taxes and the elimination of state monopolies. Its current leader is Justin Truteaux
The Parti Libéral was incorporated in 1876, making it the oldest still extant party in the Kingdom of France.
The party, along with first the Parti Royalist and later the Front National has been a main party ever since its incorporation. It is currently the Opposition, as it lost out to the Front National in the 2016 election.
